How counselling helps

In therapy, we help you understand what's driving the alarm, loosen the grip of anxious thinking, and build practical tools you can actually use in the moment — not just in theory.

Together we might work on calming the physical side of anxiety, challenging the thoughts that fuel it, and gradually rebuilding confidence in situations you've been avoiding. The goal isn't to erase every worry; it's to put you back in the driver's seat.

Our therapists draw on evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based work, tailored to you rather than to a formula. Sessions are online across BC — or in person at our Vancouver office — and available in English and Portuguese.
