Online Couples Therapy in BC

Every relationship hits hard patches — the same arguments on repeat, the slow drift into roommates, the rupture of broken trust. Reaching out for support isn't a sign your relationship is failing; it's a sign you both still care enough to try. If you're in crisis or simply want to feel close again, online couples therapy gives you a space to do that work together.

Partners turn to our online couples counselling for support with:

  • Communication that keeps breaking down or turning into conflict

  • Recurring arguments that never seem to resolve

  • Rebuilding trust after infidelity or betrayal

  • Growing apart, or feeling more like roommates than partners

  • Navigating big decisions, parenting, or co-parenting

  • Differences in intimacy, expectations, or life direction

How online relationship therapy helps

We help you slow down the cycles that keep you stuck and understand what each of you is really reaching for underneath the conflict. Through online relationship therapy, you'll practise communicating in ways that build connection rather than defensiveness, and work toward repair — whether that means growing closer or making thoughtful decisions about the future.

Both partners are equally important in the room. We're not here to take sides; we're here to support the relationship.

How Online Couples Counselling Works

Getting started with online couples counselling is simple. After booking a free consult, we match you with a therapist based on your needs and availability. Sessions take place through a secure video platform, so you can both join from home, from separate locations, or anywhere with a private, stable connection.

Each session runs the same as in-person therapy: your therapist guides the conversation, keeps things balanced between partners, and helps you build tools you can practise between sessions. The only difference is you're not driving anywhere to do it.

Online counselling for couples works well for partners with different schedules, one partner who travels, or anyone who simply prefers the comfort of a familiar space while doing this work.

Working with a Relationship Therapist Online

Our relationship therapists draw on emotion-focused and evidence-based couples work. Sessions are online across BC and available in English and Portuguese so you can work with a relationship therapist online when schedules or distance make in-person hard to coordinate.

Our virtual team is BCACC-registered, bringing over 75 years of combined clinical experience to the work. Sessions draw on approaches like Emotion-Focused Therapy and other evidence-based methods, tailored to what you and your partner need.

Couples and relationship counselling is provided by Christina Savage, Paula Coutinho, Paula Lazzuri, and Katrina Onysko.
