Low-Cost Therapy Online in Vancouver and Throughout BC

Therapy can change your life. We also know cost can be one of the biggest reasons people put it off. At Psychotherapy Room, we offer low-cost counselling in Vancouver and across BC through our intern counsellor program, so that more people can access quality mental health support when they need it most.

Our reduced-cost therapy sessions are led by supervised intern counsellors who are in the final stages of their clinical training. That means you're working with someone who is educated, skilled, and fully supported by experienced, registered supervisors every step of the way.

What Is Low-Cost Therapy?

Seeing a therapist at a low cost at Psychotherapy Room is offered through our intern counsellor program. Intern counsellors are graduate-level therapists who have completed their academic training and are now building the supervised clinical hours required for full registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

Working with an intern counsellor means you're getting thoughtful, evidence-based care from someone who brings fresh training and genuine dedication to their clients. It also means your sessions are guided by more than one set of eyes. Your student counsellor meets regularly with a Registered Clinical Counsellor-Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC-ACS) to review their work, discuss client care, and ensure the support they're providing meets the highest professional standards.

You are not a training exercise. You are a client receiving structured, supervised therapy in a safe and ethical environment.
